Dr. Hennenhoefer grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and first developed a love for the musculoskeletal system through martial arts and weight-training. He attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and then moved to West Virginia to complete his internship and specialty training in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM). While working at the Robert C. Byrd clinic in Lewisburg, WV, Dr. Hennenhoefer enjoyed treating a variety of patients from NFL athletes to newborn infants.
His treatment philosophy emphasizes the importance of the musculoskeletal system’s effect on quality of life. Life is motion, and being able to function in a well-balanced, pain-free manner is one of the most important attributes to living a healthy, active lifestyle. Because of this philosophy, Dr. Hennenhoefer has dedicated his career to treating the wide variety of problems that can affect this body system.
Outside the office, Dr. Hennenhoefer enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is happily married and lives with his wife Jennie, their cat, and two pet snakes. He is a big football fan and is always looking forward to football season each year.
